It's not allowed to take photos in the ballroom, probably not allowed to record sounds/voices as well. So I hided my recorder safely.
Transportation:
Taking subway(2-4 yen) or bus(2 yen) to Jin An Si(Jing An Temple, 靜安寺), Bai Le Men is just across the street. You might also ask the taxi driver to "Bai Le Men Dance Hall"(百樂門舞廳), which usually cost you 18-25 yen inside the city.
Costs:
Morning: Time=(forgot)/Fee=80 yen
Afternoon: Time=13:00~16:30/Fee=100 yen
Evening: Time=20:30~24:00/Fee=180 yen
male dancers: 400 yen per section
female dancers: 45 yen per section
*Regular prices above. Sometimes(e.g. Shanghai Expo 2010) they would have discounts. Fee allows you to sit inside and provide you a simple meal.
*I walked in and watched people dancing without paying, not knowing if it's because I was there at the end of afternoon section.
*Make sure having ID with you.
